Thompson Foundation for Autism Gala

Thompson Foundation for Autism held a dinner gala at the Four Seasons Hotel to benefit The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Missouri. Honorary chair and St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa brought a number of his players, who signed autographs for many of the 420 guests. Thompson Foundation founder Bill Thompson presented the Distinguished Service Award to Ron Ashworth, president and CEO of Sisters of Mercy Health System. Executive director Jim Poehling thanked co-chairs Jack Reis, Denny DeNarvaez, Scott Zajac and Ken Schutte, and his medical team, Janet Farmer, Dr. Judith Miles, Stephen Kanne, and Janine Stichter. In total, $350,000 was raised to support of the Foundation.
