Autism Awareness & Advocacy: a Q&A with Joy Johnson
The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders is offering a free virtual event!
Joy Johnson is a Behavior Analyst, Inclusion Specialist, and Autism Advocate who partners with organizations, individuals, and families to improve the lives of Autistic people. After spending years working in clinical settings, nonprofits, and schools, her experience enables her to truly serve and represent autism community members in various contexts. She holds a Masters in education, a Masters in psychology with a specialization in ABA, and she is currently a PhD student. In addition to her extensive education and professional experiences, she has a great deal of personal experiences. Joy is Autistic herself, which provides her with a unique perspective, knowledge, and source of passion.
Supplemental goodie bags will be available for pick up from the Thompson Center. For those unable to pick up, bag materials will be available to download. Additional information including pick up times will be emailed.
