Tom Davis is retired after fifty years in the commercial/industrial construction industry. He led the acquisition or creation of several companies that continue using the systems and values he instilled in their management teams. The last company he formed was the first in this region to develop utility scale solar power production facilities. Tom has served his community in multiple ways including twenty years on the Missouri state board of education and as a member of the Missouri Blue Ribbon Panel on Autism. He and his wife Winnie live in Kansas City and feel blessed with good health and close proximity to their two daughters’ families, including four grandsons, who also live in the Kansas City area. Tom’s grandson, Mason, has been served by the great staff at the Thompson Center since he was diagnosed with classic autism before he was two years old. Tom has been involved with the Thompson Foundation and the Thompson Center since 2007.
