October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Did you know that only 10-50% of adults with autism are employed? The Thompson Center has two programs to support autistic adults who wish to enter the workforce. STRIVE is an employment skills program for 18- to 30-year-olds with autism or a similar diagnosis. Participants receive direct skill instruction, mentorship, and hands-on work experiences. Learn more in this video!
New for 2023 is Accessing Career Experiences (ACE) at the Thompson Center. ACE is modeled after the successful STRIVE program, and provides additional support and training to participants.
