The Thompson Foundation was pleased to host Thompson Center families and staff at the Thompson Center Autism Day at Mizzou Arena this past Saturday. This third annual event seeks to provide an opportunity for families to attend a more sensory friendly game experience in the company of other families and Thomson Center staff.
At the event, the Foundation distributed t-shirts as well as special sensory bags thoughtfully curated by the Thompson Center’s Training Core staff. The Missouri Tigers defeated Vanderbilt 75-66 in front of an almost sold-out crowd and our group had a great time!
Thank you to everyone who made this event a success and for helping us foster a community that values inclusion and acceptance!
