Our group had a great time at Autism Day at Mizzou Arena on Saturday! Everyone received earplugs, sensory-friendly items, and a Thompson Foundation t-shirt.
Here’s one family’s experience: “Our family loved the adventure of going to the Mizzou basketball game. The parking and shuttle made things much easier. We had fun watching the guys warm up and play, listening to the pep band, going to the concessions, cheering with the dancers and cheerleaders, and being surprised by Truman coming in from the ceiling. We hope to do it again next year!” – Katy Disinger Thall
Stay tuned for an announcement about our next autism-friendly sporting event with Mizzou Baseball!
