At the Thompson Center, autism isn’t the only focus. In a few weeks, they will add a Rare Disease Clinic to the list of services. The Rare Disease Clinic is a joint effort with Child Neurology and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, dedicated to intellectual and developmental disabilities that are related to known or suspected neurological conditions. Rare conditions that may be eligible for this new clinic include Dravet syndrome, Angelman syndrome, and Doose syndrome, among many others.
